Plumbing clamp with rubber seal

A plumbing pipe clamp with a rubber seal is a crucial fastening element when assembling heating and water supply systems.

The clamp consists of two semicircular galvanized plates 20–25 mm wide and 1.5–2.5 mm thick, which follow the contours of the pipe being attached.

At both ends, the plates have threaded holes for 5–6 mm clamping screws.
Pipe clamps are used to quickly fix leaks and are considered temporary fasteners.

One plate has a welded hex nut in the center, which serves as a fastening element for the clamp with a threaded rod or is used to attach the clamp to a perforated mounting profile with a bolt.

A clamp is often used in plumbing work to facilitate fixation to a surface (with low load requirements); a plumbing stud is used for fastening to the surface.
